Yarmouth Brewery to Raise Funds for Time to Compete with Limited‑Release Beer and June 20 Event

YARMOUTH, Maine – A local brewery in Yarmouth is partnering with the nonprofit Time to Compete to host a fundraiser featuring a new, limited‑release beer and a community gathering on Saturday, June 20.

The event will take place at the brewery’s taproom, where visitors can sample the exclusive brew, purchase bottles to take home, and learn more about the charity’s work supporting people and families navigating serious health challenges. All proceeds from beer sales and event‑related donations will go to Time to Compete, a nonprofit that helps individuals prepare for, cope with, and recover from illness.

“We’re excited to offer something special that our customers can enjoy while also supporting a great cause,” said the brewery’s owner. “The beer is brewed in small batches, so it’s a unique addition to our lineup and a tangible way for people to help.”

Time to Compete’s mission is to provide resources, community, and hope to those facing health battles. The organization has run fundraising campaigns across Maine and partners with local businesses to broaden its impact.

Tickets for the June 20 event, which will include a live‑music performance, a Q&A with the brewery’s head brewer, and an opportunity to meet members of the Time to Compete team, are available online and at the taproom. The brewery will also offer a special “Time to Compete” tote bag with each bottle of the limited‑release beer sold.

“Community is at the heart of everything we do here,” the owner added. “Seeing people come together over a pint to support a cause that matters to so many is truly special.”

The brewery’s limited‑release beer will be available in two styles—an amber ale and a crisp pale lager—both brewed with locally sourced hops and malt. According to the owner, the beers will be sold only at the June 20 event, making the release a one‑off opportunity for beer lovers.

Residents and visitors looking to support the fundraiser can find ticketing information and beer details on the brewery’s website or by calling the taproom at (207) 555‑1234. The event is open to all, with a suggested donation of $10 per adult entry.
