Crash in Gorham leaves Falmouth man critically injured

A Falmouth man is in critical condition after a motor vehicle crash on County Road in Gorham on Sunday, according to the Gorham Police Department.

At about 10 a.m. on Aug. 16, according to police, 22-year-old Richard Day failed to follow a road curve while driving near 95 County Road and struck a utility pole off the roadway. Day was alone in the car and the Gorham Fire and Rescue Department transported him to to Maine Medical Center for life-threatening injuries.

The Gorham Police Department is investigating the crash and asks that any witnesses reach out to officer Jakob Saucier at [email protected] or call 207-222-1660, ext. 1.
