Death Notice: Henry Perley “Skip” Watkins Jr.

Henry Perley “Skip” Watkins Jr., a longtime resident of Casco, Maine, died on July 31 at the age of 85.

Visitation will be held on August 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home in Casco. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on August 7 at Murch Cemetery in South Casco, followed by a celebration of life at the Raymond-Casco Historical Society.

Watkins was known locally by his nickname “Skip” and was remembered as a fixture in the Casco community. He lived most recently in Casco and had spent much of his life in the area.

Family members have planned the gathering to take place over two days, beginning with the evening visitation, then the cemetery service, and concluding with the reception at the historical society.

Friends and neighbors are invited to attend and pay their respects during the scheduled events.
