Death Notice: Neal A. Adams

Neal A. Adams, a lifelong resident of Hollis, died on June 27. He was 79 years old.

Adams was known in the Hollis community for his steady presence and quiet dedication. He spent his adult years working in the region, contributing to local businesses and volunteering for community events. Those who knew him describe him as a reliable neighbor, always ready to lend a hand or share a friendly conversation.

“Neal was the kind of person you could count on,” said a longtime friend from the area. “He had a dry sense of humor and a heart that always seemed to have room for others.” The community’s memory of Adams is marked by his kindness and his willingness to help out whenever needed.

A memorial service to celebrate Adams’s life will be held on July 6 at 1 p.m. at the Bar Mills Community Church in Buxton. The service is open to all who wish to honor his memory. In keeping with his modest nature, the family has requested that expressions of sympathy be made through simple gestures—such as sharing a favorite story about Neal or taking a moment to reflect on the small acts of kindness that he embodied.
