Sara Read, 91, of Portland

Sara (Morrill) Read, a longtime resident of Portland, passed away August 21 at her home. She was 91 years old.

A visitation will be held September 25 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral Home in Saco. Burial will follow the visitation.

Read was born Sara Morrill and spent the majority of her life in the Portland area. Throughout her years, she was known to family and friends as a dedicated and caring individual.

Those wishing to pay their respects are encouraged to attend the upcoming visitation.
