Donald Trump Jr and Bettina Anderson celebrate private wedding in Bahamas, share sweet personal photo

Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson were married Saturday in an intimate ceremony on a private island in the Bahamas, just one day after the couple completed a legal marriage in Palm Beach, Florida.
About 40 guests attended the island celebration, including Trump Jr.’s five children and his siblings Ivanka, Eric and Tiffany Trump along with their spouses. Anderson’s family and a small circle of close friends were also present.
Eric Trump praised the pair in remarks to Page Six, saying, “Don and Bettina are wonderful together. I’m so proud to have witnessed so much of their journey as a couple,” and added, “They truly light up around each other, and it’s been amazing watching their story unfold. Couldn’t be happier for them on their special day.”
A source told People magazine that the couple “got married on a glorious day in a place where they often visit.”
Although the wedding had been contemplated for the White House, the pair opted for a low‑key Bahamian affair amid ongoing tensions related to the war in Iran. A larger gathering with extended family and friends is planned for later this year, with the White House still mentioned as a possible venue.
President Donald Trump explained his absence from the ceremony in a Truth Social post: “While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon‑to‑be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so.” He added, “I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D.C., at the White House during this important period of time.”
The union follows an engagement announced in December 2025 after roughly a year of dating. Anderson, 39, is a philanthropist and model who has become a regular presence at Trump family events in Palm Beach and Mar‑a‑Lago over the past year. Earlier this year she hosted a bridal shower at Mar‑a‑Lago attended by several Trump relatives.
Donald Trump Jr., 48, is the eldest son of the president and serves as executive vice president of the Trump Organization. He was previously married to Vanessa Trump from 2005 to 2018; the couple share five children—Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer and Chloe. Vanessa Trump recently disclosed a breast‑cancer diagnosis and said she is focusing on her health while surrounded by her children and family.
Anderson has not been married before and has no children. She was previously linked to businessman Beau Wrigley and had been engaged prior to that relationship’s end.
As Anderson’s role within the Trump family’s social and political circles has grown, the couple’s relationship has attracted increasing public attention.
