An elderly man and woman were found dead after a violent stabbing inside a Queens apartment on Saturday, authorities confirmed. The victims were identified as a 71‑year‑old man and a 65‑year‑old woman, who were discovered with multiple stab wounds near the intersection of Peck Avenue and 64th Avenue in the Fresh Meadows neighborhood.

Police received a 911 call just before 8 p.m. Saturday, reporting an assault that was still in progress. Responding officers arrived at the residence and found the couple critically injured. Emergency medical crews transported the man to NewYork‑Presbyterian Hospital and the woman to North Shore University Hospital, where both were pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing. Police have released photographs that reportedly show an armed ex‑convicted offender, but no suspect has been formally charged.
