Hours before U.S. military aircraft are set to take flight over [Washington, D.C.](https://www.foxnews.com/category/us/washington-dc), an app was launched to help Americans track the monumental Fourth of July aerial flyovers in real-time.
Created by senior [White House official](https://foxnews.com/category/politics/executive/white-house) Shawn Chittle, the "4th of July Fly Over" app is designed as a companion guide for spectators watching along the National Mall and Washington Monument grounds.
To keep up with the fast-moving aerial acts, the app features an adjustable countdown timer set to the official schedule.

If the flyovers run late or fast, users can manually adjust the timer, and the app will automatically display which aircraft is coming up next.
Spectators can also use the tool to access photos, history and basic facts about the legendary aircraft roaring overhead.

The aerial showcase begins at 1:14 p.m. local time with a [NASA F-5 flyover](https://foxnews.com/category/science/air-and-space/nasa), followed by a series of fleet reviews spanning the Coast Guard, Army, Air Force, Marines and Navy.
Crowd favorites will take the stage later in the afternoon, with the Navy Blue Angels scheduled for 4:59 p.m. and the [Air Force Thunderbirds](https://foxnews.com/category/us/military/air-force) demonstration at 6:25 p.m.
Just after 7 p.m., [Air Force One](https://foxnews.com/category/tech/topics/us-air-force) will fly over, followed at 7:17 p.m. by a "HUGE 1" flyover led by the newly renovated Air Force One.
In the evening, there will be a [U.S. Stealth Airpower flyover](https://foxnews.com/politics/air-force-reveals-b-2s-hidden-ship-killer-capability-china-threat-grows) at 7:38 p.m. An F-22 Raptor afterburner display will follow at 7:53 p.m. and B-1 bombers in afterburner at 8:07 p.m.
For spectators staying out late, a B-1 afterburner night pass will light up the sky at 10:36 p.m.
