Biddeford’s comeback began with Stanley Richerson’s 10‑yard run, followed moments later by Alexander Gosselin’s 43‑yard interception return for a touchdown. Estevao Lembissa’s rushing conversion gave the Tigers a 15‑14 halftime lead.

The second half was dominated by the Tigers. Lembissa added a 71‑yard pass and a 49‑yard run, while Richerson finished with a 78‑yard touchdown run, giving Biddeford a 37‑14 victory.

Noble 21, South Portland 7 – North Berwick

Noble’s Mark LaPointe threw two touchdown passes and kept the Knights’ playoff hopes alive. LaPointe’s first pass was a 30‑yard strike to Bryson McCormack, putting Noble up 14‑0 in the first quarter. A 14‑yard screen to Alec Hale in the fourth quarter added a third touchdown. South Portland’s only score came from Christopher Salamone’s 3‑yard run with 20 seconds left in the second quarter.

Thornton Academy 61, Sanford 0 – Saco

Thornton Academy, the top‑ranked team in the Varsity Maine poll, rolled through Sanford in a one‑goal‑difference game. Brennan Tabor’s 8‑ and 22‑yard runs gave the Trojans a 14‑0 lead just 2:07 into the first quarter. Noah Fullerton later completed a 23‑yard touchdown pass to Logan O’Keefe, and Chase Paquette’s 3‑yard runs added two more touchdowns. Caleb Parenteau added two short runs, and Owen Morin and Kendrick Booker finished the scoring with a 27‑yard run and a 6‑yard run, respectively.

Cheverus 27, Deering 6 – Portland

Cheverus built a 21‑0 lead in the first 10 minutes of the game. Colton Jewett’s passing and rushing skills accounted for two touchdowns. Igor Bitencourt’s 35‑yard run and a recovered fumble by James Dillon set up Kevin True’s 24‑yard touchdown reception. Jewett added a 9‑yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter. Deering’s only score came from a 3‑yard run by Matt Ciampi.

Gray‑New Gloucester 25, Mt. Ararat 6 – Gray

Cony 55, Brunswick 7 – Augusta

Cony’s Drew Lindquist threw five touchdown passes, while Anderson Noyes and Landen Perry each scored twice. An 18‑yard pass to Ian Lasselle gave Cony an early advantage. Brunswick’s Jacob Austin returned the kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown, but the Rams responded with a 3‑yard run by Noyes. A blocked punt set up a 17‑yard touchdown pass to Perry. Noyes added another 3‑yard run in the third quarter and capped the scoring with a 60‑yard touchdown run in the fourth. The Rams finished with a 55‑7 win.

These games highlighted the skill of Maine’s high‑school football programs, with standout performances from players such as Biddeford’s Estevao Lembissa, Kennebunk’s Ethan White, and Thornton Academy’s Brennan Tabor.
