Portland Artists Launch New Mural Project in Lewiston

Two Portland-based artists are bringing a new mural to Lewiston as of Tuesday.

Rachel Gloria Adams and Ryan Adams are currently working on the project at the intersection of Ash Street and Lisbon Street, transforming a prominent corner in the city with their artwork.

The couple, who are known for their public art installations in the Portland area, have not released details about the mural's subject matter or expected completion date. However, their previous works have drawn attention from residents and visitors alike across the region.

The Lewiston mural is the latest addition to the city's growing collection of public art, adding to a tradition of community-driven creative projects that have become a visible part of Lewiston's urban landscape in recent years.

Residents walking through the area Tuesday morning were able to watch the artists at work as the project got underway.
