A wealthy Silicon Valley investor has pledged $40 million to a Republican‑leaning group that is targeting state‑level races across the country. The money will be used to build a volunteer‑based campaign that focuses on door‑knocking and phone‑banking rather than direct candidate contributions.

Scott Banister, a libertarian who helped bankroll PayPal, Uber and SpaceX, delivered the check to Make Liberty Win, a political organization that describes itself as “right‑of‑center with a distinctly libertarian bent.” The group, which is run by CEO Jeff Frazee, has been active in nine states so far and plans to expand into at least a dozen more.

According to a press release obtained by Fox News Digital, Make Liberty Win intends to “mobilize student and youth activists to knock on the doors of more than two million voters in key states” in order to counter the rise of self‑described Democratic Socialists of America. The organization’s strategy is to field a volunteer army that canvasses neighborhoods and calls households, rather than handing out cash directly to candidates.

“Make Liberty Win will execute a comprehensive strategy to counter socialist Democrats and win at the state level, where political movements are built and every American can make a difference,” Frazee told the press. The group’s spokesperson notes that the $40 million represents the minimum spend; additional donors inspired by Banister could boost the effort further.

The bulk of the donation has already been deployed in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, New Hampshire, West Virginia and Montana. In the coming months the organization hopes to add at least three more battleground states to its roster.
