Maine Celtics to open season at home on Nov. 6

The Maine Celtics have released their schedule for the 2026-27 NBA G League season, and it will begin in early November at the Portland Expo.

The team announced Friday that its season opener is set for Friday, Nov. 6, with a home game against the Westchester Knicks.

The upcoming campaign will again be divided into two parts, separated by the holiday break. All 50 games on Maine's schedule will be split between the Tip-Off Tournament and the traditional regular season.

The Tip-Off Tournament portion of the schedule will feature 14 games and wrap up in December at the G League's Winter Showcase in Orlando, Florida.

The regular season begins Sunday, Dec. 27, when Maine hosts the Capital City Go-Go at the Portland Expo. The team is expected to enjoy a strong home start, with six of its first eight regular-season games scheduled at the Expo. That stretch includes a New Year's Eve matchup on Thursday, Dec. 31, against the Motor City Cruise.

Maine's regular season will end on the road with a back-to-back series against the Wisconsin Herd on March 26 and March 27, 2027.
