Johanfran Garcia tied the game with a two-run single in the bottom of the ninth inning, and Ahbram Liendo scored the winning run on an error as the Portland Sea Dogs rallied for a 7-6 win over the Somerset Patriots in an Eastern League game Saturday night at Hadlock Field.
The Sea Dogs trailed 6-3 entering the ninth but produced four runs without making an out.
Singles by Franklin Arias and Nate Baez sandwiched around a hit batter loaded the bases for Brooks Brannon, who also was hit by a pitch, forcing home a run.
Garcia followed with a fly ball to deep left that was misplayed and fell safely, as Will Turner and Baez scored to tie the game.
Marvin Alcantara then hit a grounder that was booted by shortstop Owen Cobb, allowing pinch-runner Liendo to score from second.
Cooper Adams (7-4) was credited with the win after a pitching a scoreless ninth inning. Arias led the offense with three hits, and Brannon belted his 10th home run.
DJ Gladney and Jace Avina homered for Somerset against Sea Dogs starter John Holobetz.
