U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) said Tuesday that the U.S. military carried out a lethal strike on a vessel in the [Eastern Pacific](https://www.foxnews.com/category/world/world-regions/pacific), killing three suspected narco-terrorists. The strike, which was conducted by Joint Task Force Southern Spear at the direction of Commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, targeted a vessel that was operating along known narco-trafficking corridors and engaged in narco-trafficking activity.  No U.S. service members were injured in the operation, according [to SOUTHCOM](https://www.foxnews.com/politics/us-military-strikes-narco-terrorist-vessels). "Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations," the command wrote on X. "Three male narco-terrorists were killed during this action. No U.S. military forces were harmed."
