AUGUSTA, Maine — With a winter storm expected to create hazardous travel conditions across Maine, Gov. Janet Mills has ordered all state government offices closed on Wednesday, Dec. 24.
Forecasters predict widespread snowfall beginning Tuesday afternoon and continuing into Wednesday morning, with some areas facing "extremely dangerous travel conditions," according to the National Weather Service.
