Obituary: R. Patrick Miele

 R. Patrick Miele STATESVILLE, N.C. – Ralph Patrick Miele “Pat”, 82, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Dec. 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren. He was a kind, faithful, loving, generous, and supportive soul who was never too busy for his family. He was loved dearly and is missed beyond words. He was born in Portland, Maine, and spent the majority of his life in Falmouth. He was predeceased by his parents, Constance and Ralph Miele; brothers Conway and Michael Birrell; daughter-in-law, Cristine Meredith Miele; and nephews Michael and Timothy Birrell. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Victoria E. Miele; children Shawn Patrick Miele (Emily Fisher) and Dianna Seldomridge (Alex); his grandchildren, Alex, Katy and Will Miele and Payton and Xander Seldomridge, as well as two step-grandchildren, Keely and Zane Fisher. He also leaves seven nieces, three nephews; an aunt; and multiple cousins. There will be a Memorial Service at Falmouth Congregational Church, 267 Falmouth Rd. in Falmouth, at 9 a.m. on Friday, June 19, followed by a reception in Fellowship Hall.
